We are based at Barrow-in-Furness docks on the English west coast. We have workshop and office facilities for our tugs/workboat craft and smaller workboats and operate both around the UK and Ireland.

Our licensed Boatmen and Ropers also carry out towage and miscellaneous duties within the Port of Barrow – from sewage to submarines!

Bay Towage has a well maintained & diversified fleet which we continue to improve and refit. Our vessels are MCA coded for UK & Ireland operations and are insured with Gallagher Insurance Brokers Ltd and work in accordance with MCA recommendations and relevant European standards.

Dedicated Professional Crew

Vessels are supplied with our own experienced, dedicated professional crew. All skippers have a RYA Offshore Skipper Certificate of Service – Commercially Endorsed. All personnel are experienced in the use of Microfix, Differential GPS, Lasertrack and Hifix positioning systems and also the Atlas Echo sounding systems.
